Terms of service
The rules for using Wharfly, in plain language.
The short version
- By installing or using Wharfly you agree to these terms.
- Wharfly is free while it launches on the Shopify App Store. Paid plans are planned and will be announced before anything is charged. When they start, they will be charged through your Shopify bill, and you will be able to change or cancel at any time.
- You own your data. We use it only to provide Wharfly.
- Wharfly's suggestions help you decide. You are responsible for what you order and pay, so check the figures.
- We do not promise the app will always be available or error free, and our liability is limited.
1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of Wharfly and this website. By installing or using Wharfly you agree to them. If you use Wharfly for a business, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that business. If you do not agree, do not install or use Wharfly.
2. Who provides Wharfly
Who operates Wharfly. Wharfly is a brand operated by Hunain Khatri, an individual trading as Wharfly, based in Malaysia. Wharfly is not yet a registered company. On this page, "we" means Hunain Khatri operating Wharfly.
3. The service and plans
Wharfly helps Shopify merchants manage purchase orders, suppliers, demand planning, shipments, accounting records and team approvals for their store. Wharfly is free while it launches on the Shopify App Store, and no charges apply. Paid plans are planned: Starter (free), Growth ($10 a month) and Pro ($50 a month). They will be announced before anything is charged, and the features planned for each are listed on the pricing page.
Features marked "coming soon", including AI insights, are not available and are not promised for any date. We may change, improve or remove features over time.
4. Planned free plan limits
When paid plans start, the Starter plan will be free and will include up to 5 suppliers, 10 purchase orders a month, 1 user and a basic demand planning table. Other features will need a paid plan.
5. Billing through Shopify, and cancellation
Paid plans will be charged to your Shopify bill and will renew every 30 days until you change or cancel. We will not collect your card details. Prices are shown on our website. Shopify's own billing terms and any taxes apply.
You will be able to change or cancel your plan at any time. Uninstalling Wharfly will also end any paid subscription through Shopify. Refunds follow Shopify's app billing policies.
6. Your data
You own the data in your Shopify store and the data you put into Wharfly. You give us permission to access and process it only to provide Wharfly to you, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter the data you add, including details about your suppliers.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Wharfly. In particular, do not:
- break, overload, probe or interfere with the app or its security;
- access another merchant's data, or use another person's account;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it;
- use Wharfly for anything unlawful.
You are responsible for the people you give access to, and for what they do in Wharfly.
8. Suggestions are aids to your judgment
Demand planning statuses, reorder quantities, order by dates, run out dates, key figures and the calculator on this website are aids to your judgment. They rely on the data available and on stated assumptions, and they can be wrong or out of date. They are not professional, financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. The accounting screens record supplier invoices and payments for purchasing and are not a replacement for your accounting system or an accountant.
You are responsible for what you order and pay. Check the figures before you send a purchase order or make a payment. The shipments map is a static view of known origins and is not live carrier tracking.
9. Shopify and other third parties
Wharfly works with your Shopify store, so Shopify's terms and policies also apply to you. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Wharfly is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify. We are not responsible for Shopify or other third party services.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep Wharfly available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may pause it for maintenance or changes. For help, email support@wharfly.app. We aim to reply within 24 hours on business days, but that is a goal and not a guarantee.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Wharfly at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if you do not pay for a paid plan, or if we must do so by law. What happens to your data after uninstall is described in our privacy policy.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Wharfly is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not give any warranty that it will meet your needs, that it will be accurate, or that it will be free of errors, and we exclude all implied warranties.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, stock, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Wharfly. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to Wharfly is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Malaysia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go elsewhere.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date at the top. If a change is material we will take reasonable steps to tell merchants. Using Wharfly after an update means you accept it.
16. Contact
