FourEyes help

How FourEyes works.

Setup, approvals, rollback, billing, data and troubleshooting. Questions? Email foureyes@wharfly.app. We reply within two business days.

FourEyes reviews every product price and unit-cost change before it reaches Shopify, then proves what actually landed.

How it works

FourEyes keeps a synced copy of your product prices and unit costs. When you want to change something, you create a change set, which is a reviewable batch of edits. A second admin approves it, FourEyes re-reads the live values to confirm nothing changed, then writes and verifies the result.

Every change is recorded in an audit trail with the before value, after value, who approved it and when.

Setup in 3 steps

  1. Open FourEyes and let the catalog sync finish. It pulls product prices and unit costs from Shopify in the background.
  2. Create your first change set, either by picking products or importing a CSV of SKUs and new prices.
  3. Ask a second admin to approve it, then publish. FourEyes writes the values and reads them back to verify.

Try it in 2 minutes

  1. Download the sample CSV. It has the four columns FourEyes reads: sku, price, compare_at_price and cost, with a few generic demo rows.
  2. Open New change set, paste the file into the CSV box and choose Load into table. Rows whose SKU matches a product in your store are matched; the rest are listed so you can see why.
  3. Review the before and after values, then send the change set for approval. Nothing reaches your store until a second admin approves it and you publish.

Try this on a development store or with your own SKUs. The demo SKUs only match products that already use them.

FAQ

What counts as a change?

One published and verified field: a price, compare-at price, or unit cost. Drafts, rejections, stale or failed items and rollbacks do not count.

Can I change a whole collection or tag at once?

Yes. On New change set, open Collection or tag and choose Add next to a collection or a tag. FourEyes adds every variant of those products that is already in its synced catalog, up to 500 per change set. You still review every price, and nothing reaches your store until a second admin approves it. Products that have not synced yet are skipped and listed in the message, so let the catalog sync finish first.

Does FourEyes change anything by itself?

No. FourEyes never writes to Shopify without an approved change set and an explicit publish action.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. An applied change set can be rolled back with the same approval and stale protection as the original.

Approvals

A change set is published only after a second admin approves it. While dual control is on, the person who created a change set cannot approve their own set. You can review the full diff, with every before and after value and its risk, before approving.

Rollback

Rollback creates a reverse change set rather than mutating history. It restores the stored before-values and verifies the result. With dual control on, a second admin must approve the rollback too.

Billing

FourEyes uses Shopify managed pricing with two plans:

  • Free: your first 50 verified changes, free for life. Audit history and rollback included.
  • FourEyes: 5 USD every 30 days for unlimited verified changes, with a 14-day trial.

Billing is managed entirely through Shopify's hosted plan page. FourEyes does not store payment details or run its own checkout.

Data and privacy

FourEyes requests no customer or order data, installs no storefront scripts, and keeps the audit trail for 12 months. After uninstall, shop data is deleted within 30 days; a Shopify shop redaction request deletes it immediately.

This page is a plain description, not legal advice. Review the privacy policy and terms, and have counsel review them before you rely on them.

Troubleshooting

A change set is stale

The catalog changed between approval and publish, so FourEyes blocked the write. Create a fresh change set from the current prices.

Publishing is paused

Your subscription may be frozen, or you may have used all 50 free changes. Open the Subscription page to update billing details or choose a plan in Shopify.

The catalog is empty

Run a sync from the dashboard or wait for the background sync to finish. FourEyes needs synced prices and costs before it can validate a change.
