Who we are

What we collect
When a merchant installs Wharfly, we access data from their Shopify store through the permissions the merchant approves. This can include:
- Products, variants, inventory levels and locations
- Order and sales history used for demand planning
- The shop name, domain and account contact details
Merchants also enter data directly into Wharfly, such as supplier details, purchase orders, invoices and payments. We do not need or intentionally collect payment card numbers.
How we use it
- To provide the app: purchase orders, supplier records, demand planning and payables
- To bill subscriptions through Shopify
- To give support and to fix problems
- To improve the app using aggregated, non identifying usage information
We do not sell merchant data or customer data.
AI features
When AI features launch, the data needed to answer a request may be sent to an AI provider to produce a result. We will describe the provider and what is sent here before the feature is available. [Update at launch]
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the app, such as hosting and database providers. They may process data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep merchant data while the app is installed. After uninstall, we delete or anonymize store data within [number] days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We respond to Shopify's customer data request and data erasure requests within the time Shopify requires.
